My poor child will never learn. Mainly because I don’t set a good example. My bed gets made when we are having company. Husband makes it then. Maybe that needs to be something I change in 2008. Child does needs to learn. Plus it is one of his AWANA requirements to make his bed for a week. Have a great Friday.
Unfortunately, I’m with Kimberly. I wasn’t always like that but lately….. . And yes, you do have them trained well, very good!!! Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.
We don’t make beds in my house because there is a pretty good chance that at any one time, someone is sleeping in it. I sleep at night, DB sleeps during the day, sometimes we nap… just not worth it.
Great job with the kids!!
I must confess that I am a bit of a neat freak. I can’t let the bed go unmade. And if I do lay on top of the bedspread and take a nap I have to straighten it when I get up. Happy Friday everyone!
Mine try…their dad is trying to train them. He’s a bed maker. I’m of the firm belief that if you just give me five minutes I’ll probably be in the bed and therefore making it seems pointless.
I spent the first half of my married life not making the bed. Why bother? But something kicked in somewhere along the way and now I make the bed. I want to see my pretty matelasse cover, the French tapestry pillows, the fluffy goosedown comforter all neat and looking like something from a magazine.

Beds rarely get made around here. I mean, why bother? What if I wanted to take a nap?

I love the pink and green!

Jen, if we lived closer.
Susan, the rest of the house can be in shambles, but if the bed is made, I can face the day. It’s a quirk.
Kimberly, if you want to take a nap, you get another blanket and lay on top of the bed.
Ginger, have a great weekend, too!
Andrea, totally understandable. I am sure that my dh gets sick of me rousing him so that I can make it up.
Lizabeth! Yay! Another neat freak! I am not alone! (And yes, there was a problem with Soapbox Queens today, but Sir Codes a Lot got it fixed.)
Kira, she picked her own colors. That’s “Atomic Vomit” on the walls.
Lynn, I know what you mean. It doesn’t look as messy when the bed is made.

Nice work, Rhonda! We mostly non-makers, but I do agree that it does make the room look much nicer pretty quickly! Happy Friday!
