Oh, Christmas Tree!
The tree is up and trimmed. Presents are wrapped, but I haven’t put the bows on them yet because the dog likes to drag them off and eat them. What about you? Have you decorated your tree? If so, what colors?Â

(And note to self–buy new blinds.

Looks very nice. I still have fall decorations out in the dining room. Who knows when I will get the tree up. Going out of town for Thanksgiving messed me up this year.

How pretty! We aren’t having a tree this year.
We’ll be on a cruise during Christmas. I look forward to the cruise part, but I wish I could put up a tree. But I don’t want a big unlighted tree in my window for a week while I go away, so no tree. I’ll just have to enjoy this one.

Good dog, Rhonda. It’s not even December yet and you look totally ready.
Sigh. I’m not even remotely there yet…

Very pretty tree. I have 2 trees, a multi color, 7′ tall in my living room and a 4 1/2′ silver in my dining room. Does your’s turn and do you have ornament turners? Mine do and I love them. I can see both my trees from my lazy girl - just lovely. PS Lynn Raye, put your tree up and place it on a timer, they work great!

Our tree’s up, too–thanks to my husband
It’s a basic fake one, with white lights (which are for some reason not all synced, so the tree lights up in chunks), and a very random assortment of ornaments, many made by the kids in recent years. Quite the mishmash!

Thanks, Jen!
Susan, I had help! Daughter had a friend over and they were “bored” so I put them to work.
Lynn, I would trade a tree for a cruise in a heartbeat!
Kimberly, I’m pretty close to being ready. I’m manic that way.
Ginger, your trees sound lovely! Mine don’t turn. Whah!
Fedora, all the keepsake ornaments go on first here at our house–and they’re always displayed prominently on the front of the tree by the kids who made them.

Hi there, your tree is beautiful! I also have my tree up. The day after Thanksgiving is my day to put up my tree and do my indoor Christmas decorating…I tune everyone out and I am in my own little world. I have multi-colored lights and an assortment of ornaments (some from when Lee Ann my 19 year old daughter was only 1 year old). I also have some presents wrapped and under the tree!! Great job on your tree!!!!
