Whine About it Wednesday (Not!)
I cannot whine today.Â
Today, I have in my possession, a BABY! Squee!
My sister, bless her heart, has had to return to work and so I get to keep her darling daughter one day a week. Ordinarily my mother would have her on Wednesday, but since this is the day before Thanksgiving and Mom is making lots and lots of food for the family to enjoy, and I am only bringing a few casseroles–Squash, Brocolli and Corn, to be specific–I’m keeping Maddie. (And Karley, her older sister. And my kids are home today from school as well, so it’s hopping here in my little house.)
I’m going to let the kids make cookies and I’m going to hold the baby. All day. Because she is sweet and wonderful and smells like baby lotion.

That’s funny. If I had a household of kids and a baby to take care of, this post would be a whine.

Ah, how sweet! My two grandsons are home for Thanksgiving and I’m enjoying having them here. There’s nothing like cuddling up to a little baby or 3 1/2 year old. Sigh.
Have loads of fun, Rhonda.

I’d love to have a baby to hold… and give back at the end of the day.
But luckily for me, both my kids are cuddlers (ages 7 and 3). So I still get lots of hugs around here.

Have fun. Who knows you might decide to have a little. No whines yet. We made it safely to Ohio. Happy Thanksgiving to All.

Woohoo! Very very fun! Especially when you get all the lovely cuddling, and none of the squalling in the middle of the night
How very lovely–newborns are something tremendously special indeed! Snuggle up, Auntie!
