An Open Letter to Mother Nature…
Dear Mother Nature,
I don’t know what your game is, but I’m starting to get pissed. Last week we had nice cooler tempteratures, with chilly crisp mornings that made my soul sing.Â
This morning, on the other hand, I walked outside into the muggy miserable air and was promptly set upon by half a dozen mosquitoes.
I don’t understand! Have we southerners, in particular, done something to irritate you? Or you do just enjoy screwing with us?

Seriously. It needs to drop below 80 and stay there.

Amen, sister. Isn’t it enough that we have suffered a severe drought this summer, no rain, nasty temperatures???? And now this, playing with our affections….it’s just wrong….
. And those of us who suffer allergies, oh boy,
. Anywho, I hope you have a grand Friday and a marvelous weekend.

Maybe we should sign a petition…or stage a coup.
We’re planning to take the girls to Bankhead Forest tomorrow. DH and I used to love going there in the fall. I just hope the temps stay nice enough that we can get a little time in in the morning.
