Hmmm... went to my 10 (with another high school friend and my poor husband in tow), and the funniest part of the evening was as we were walking into the hotel where it was held, we hear someone call out, "Hey, Frank!" (That's my hubby, who not only did not go to my high school, he didn't even attend high school in this COUNTRY... his family was overseas during that time.) Anyway, the evening was meh... I agree that mainly I've kept up with most of the people I care to, and the few I'm curious about, I don't know that I want to endure an evening of small talk to catch a glimpse of. (My graduating class was over 700 people, so there are TONS of people I would be looking at thinking, "Hmmm... I probably should know them, but can't for the life of me remember who they are..." Ugh!)

My 20 is in a couple weeks, and I think I'm going to pass... Just another reminder that I'm getting OLD!!! Ack!! :arrrrgh:

Andrea, that's really sad.

Jen, you're too funny!

Thanks, Ginger!

Danniele, I can see where a reunion for your class may be a little ridiculous.

Susan, how nice! D is looking forward to his.

Kimberly, why am I not surprised that you planned yours? :zing:

I planned my 10 year reunion. Bunch of ingrates. We were a small class--only 32--but it was a nightmare.:kmg

Our 15th was supposed to be planned by 2 other people. It never happened. Our 20th is a couple of years out, and I'm waiting for the phone call thinking I'll do that again. :brick:

Went to my 5, 10 and 20 year. Yes I am old. They were all good. It was good to see people you had not seen in years even though alot still live in the area. Ten year we did have a streaker(I don't know it that is how to spell it or not). But he did run through the room with no clothes.
My parents just went to their 50 year one. They are talking about having one every year. They also meet once a month with their class for lunch. Have fun and enjoy.

Considering there were 4 students in my graduating class, 2 of whom were me and my twin sister, I don't think a reunion is in the works.

My hubby's 10 year was the September after my son was born (in July). Luckily, he wasn't interested in attending. I certainly didn't feel like showing up not just overweight, but weepy, tired, and feeling like a milk cow. Not exactly someone he could "show off". :crying:

Nope, never attended and really don't have a driving desire to do so. But good luck with yours and I hope your husband and yourself have a great time. :comhere:

Geeze, Andrea, I think we know someone with exceptional organizational skills who could take charge and organize it, even from across the country. :muahaha:

This was the biggie for me, the women might be a little heavier but recognizable. The men -- be prepared to not even recognize some of them. I guess because females mature physically before males but in high school they might have facial hair but they're still boys. When you see them, they're going to have become men and it's a BIG difference. And at 20 years out, most of it won't be to the better. :wow:

My 10 yr is supposed to be this year, unfortunately, there's no one to plan it. We're the first graduating class at my school, no one knows what they're doing and no one will step up and handle it. They'll probably end up grilling in the parking lot of the high school - an event I will not fly cross country for, even to visit Vegas. Idiots. :arrrrgh:
