An I Love Me Present…
Last week I bought myself an “I Love Me” present. I don’t do this very often, just when Vera Bradley debuts new styles in the spring and fall. I really wanted the Bucket Tote in Mod Pink, but since the store didn’t have it, I settled for the Bucket Tote in Mod Blue. (Instant gratification, ya’ll. I couldn’t help myself.) Anyway, here it is…

I picked up a couple of smallish things at the craft fair this weekend…more “I Like Me” instead of “I Love Me.”
But I’m easily pleased.

Saturday was my “I Like Me” verging toward “I Love Me” day. After our chapter meeting I bought myself some books at B&N and then splurged on the tote for $4.99. Susan was driving so I treated myself to a cosmopolitan and then dinner out when I got home.

I went to the craft fair with Kimberly and bought myself a new purse too. Mine isn’t nearly as pretty, black with pink straps, but the inside has all the sections designed to help you keep up with stuff and find things more easily. I’m really liking it.

Just this past weekend, I bought a dress that I do not need & have nowhere to wear it. But it was so darn pretty! Long, strapless, in turquoise blue…it looks like something off of a soap opera. It also wasn’t terribly expensive, otherwise I might have been able to resist.
So now this gorgeous dress is in my closet, only to be brought out if I’m maybe up for a RITA someday or something. If not…

Ginger, a couple of sweet friends (ahem, Jen and Vicki) recently got me a B&N gift card and I got myself a new book and a Marc Broussard CD.
Danniele, I love the Vera’s because of all the little pockets on the inside. Plus, they’re very light and I have a tendency to pack a lot of heavy crap into a purse.
Heidi you never know when you will *need* that dress. I’m sure that it *spoke* to you, that you had to have it.

My usual I Love Me present is books… even though there isn’t any room under the bed for any more and the nightstand is piled high! Books, and occasionally a pint of some decadent ice cream that I hide from the kids

my love me purchase is monthly, and that is books from Harlequin….I’m addicted and hubby doesn’t mind, however he is really gonna need to build me a room for all of them b/c I am not the type to uy, read and re-sell them. Everyone have a great night!
