Oh, How I Love Babies!
Meet Maddie! Isn’t she just the most darling little thing??? Needless to say, my entire family is overjoyed at her arrival. My sister is doing well and my brother-in-law is absolutely over the moon. Their oldest child and the proud Big Sister has been in awe all day. It’s so sweet. My kids have been especially fun to watch, particularly my cool fourteen-year-old son who cuddled her close and sniffed her little head, then gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek.
Only fly in the ointment?
“Momma, why can’t you have another baby?”
Oy. “My baby factory is closed for business.”
“But–”
“No.”

She’s just beautiful! And she has her Aunt Rhonda’s mouth.
Girl said the other day, “I’m glad I’m an only child.” And that’s a good thing cause another one ain’t happening at this stage of the game.

Babies! Sigh…every now and then I get this pang of maternal interest. Then I’m quickly forced to
until it goes away. Not sure I’m really cut out for all that.

She’s adorable, Rhonda! Glad to hear everyone’s doing well.
When the girls both went off to school this year and my office was empty for the first time I had a brief few days of wanting another baby. The feeling quickly went away. And yesterday reinforced that. I had my 1 yr old nephew at the office because my mom was sick.
Andrea, you’re going to make a wonderful mother!

Oh how sweet and adorable! Congratulations to everyone!!
I admit, I do get those maternal pangs these days, but it’s got a lot to do with the bio clock running out. I knew from the time I was about 12 that I didn’t want any kids. Now, when it’s nearly too late, I think I wouldn’t mind. Just my luck.

What an
! Maddie is absolutely beautiful, Rhonda. Ah, I’d love to have more babies. If only we hadn’t had to close up shop so soon. They pressure you to have your tubes tied after 2 c-sections. I fought them until # 4. Good thing too. Things were getting pretty bad in there.
When I held my grandson in my arms, immediately I was filled with the desire to have more children. In fact, every time I hold a baby I want more. DH just gives me that look and I know exactly what he’s thinking.

She’s lovely, Rhonda!
I do still think, “Hmm… maybe one more” all the time. Then someone else whines or I’m struck with the awful memory of three sleepless nights in a row and quickly come to my senses!
