Attended a neighbor's wedding last weekend & she--the bride!--just about had a heart attack when she saw me all dressed up...nice clothes, hair fixed, make-up on. She only ever sees me in my run-around clothes, no make-up, & with my hair twisted up in a trusty clip, so I guess I caught her a little off-guard. ROFL But still, is it appropriate for a bride to be complimenting a guest on how nice she looks...shouldn't it be the other way around?
