I’m sick of sticking to my car seats when I get inside.

This is my early afternoon with the girls. I pick them up from school and we do something together just the three of us. Everything Sweet Pea wanted to do involved me being outside. Not gonna happen. We finally settled on shakes for them and a nap for me.

My heart goes out to all of you who live in the South. I don’t know how you stand the high temps. Here in the Northeast we have been having some wonderfully cool weather. Today and tomorrow it is supposed to be in the high 80’s with high humidity but starting Sunday we are back down to the high 70’s and low 80’s with hardly any humidity. If I could figure a way to bottle our weather I’d send you some.

Well, Alaska does have 30 days of darkness too. There’s a movie coming out by that name, I think, about that subject except Vampires have taken advantage of the darkness and found a new home where they have free rein.

I like Alaska. Once upon a time, I seriously thought I’d like to live in Homer (yes, it’s in Alaska ). I’m ready to go. I’ll deal with the lack’o'light in the wintertime.

Yeah, it’s hot but the weatherman said this morning that we have cooler temperatures coming… . It showed next Friday a temperature of 90, yowsar, bring it on. Have a wonderful weekend and try to stay cool.
