Weekend Reading…

Well, I picked up my copy of Harry at midnight Friday night and was home with my stash of Diet Mt. Dew, cookies and M&M’s by 12:30.  I’m going to read it again soon so that I can go through and catch all the things I undoubtedly missed racing to the end to see the conclusion.  I know there’s at least one person who regularly reads my blog who hasn’t finished the book yet, so please no spoilers.

In other news…I have to work.  Nothing like a Monday to give one that reminder, eh?   In the meantime, let’s play a little game.  Finish this sentence.

I wish I had a___________.

Day off with nothing to do but read, read and read some more.

  2. Marilyn Says:

    ..a billion dollars tax free.

Hey, a girl can wish, can’t she?

  3. Kira Says:

More time with my girls. (and for Marilyn to share her money )

  4. Jen Says:

    …bestseller I’d written.

  5. JulieLeto Says:

    …live-in maid/cook.

I’m done. Can’t wait to discuss. I don’t think I’m going to read it again, though. Not any time soon.

I’m with Julie–someone else to clean and organize the house would be fabulous (Oh, maybe the billion dollars would buy one of those… ) Happy Monday, everybody…

  7. Andrea Says:

…interior decorator to come finish my house. Someone to paint all my walls, hang up my blinds and curtain, put up pictures and assemble everything all cute for me. Or a billion dollars…I’d even take it taxed. Then I’d have time to stay home and do all this stupid stuff.

I’m done the book, too! Started it yesterday morning, finished it last night. I have a couple of minor issues, but otherwise, I’m satisfied.

    To answer your question, though…

…boy toy. A tall, muscular one. Is that so wrong??

Ginger, I can’t complain that I haven’t had a day off to read because I down HP7 in an afternoon. I didn’t even stop to eat, just munched on the snacks I’d brought into my room.

Marilyn, a billion dollars would be extremely nice.

Kira, my kids are bickering so much at the moment “more time” isn’t on my wish list. I’m told this phase will pass. We shall see…

Jen, I firmly believe that “want” is going to come true for you. You are AMAZINGLY talented.

JulieLK, if I had the billion dollars I’d hire a live in maid/cook.

    Happy Monday, Fedora!

Andrea, decorating is the best part! I’m sure that you don’t need an interior decorator–you just need a painter and handyman. Wait. What about DB? Doesn’t he know how to wield a brush and install blinds?

    Kris, you’re a hoot!
