No Golden Girl…
…but I did bring home the ribbon.
Â
I had a wonderful time in Dallas and enjoyed meeting up with seldom-seen friends. I’m excited about getting back to work and, as soon as I catch up on a little sleep, I’m going to jump back into my WIP. I *did* get to bring home my November cover–which is BEAUTIFUL, btw–and will post a picture as soon as I unpack the camera. (Bags are still packed, I’m afraid.)
Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice weekend in my absence. Give me a shout-out if you were at the conference as well.

I would’ve loved to have seen you bring Ms. RITA home with you but I’m glad you had a good time anyway. And I’m dying to see your cover!

What kind of ribbon did you bring home? Glad to have you back.

And might I add that you looked absolutely stunning on Saturday night.
Bring on the cover! And I might be back under them this afternoon for a nap.
Gotta go get more caffeine.

I’ve seen the cover. It’s gorgeous…or rather he’s gorgeous.

Alas, no golden girl, but you’ve got plenty of time yet. And you did look lovely.
I’m sleepy

You were robbed.
My bags are still packed, too. Went to the docs and his diagnosis of the pain I’m experiencing doesn’t ring true for me. I’ll give it one day on his meds, then I’m back tomorrow.
Great seeing you, even if it was only for five minutes.

Robbed, robbed, robbed.

Seriously
If I had the energy, I’d lodge a formal protest. But that would require movement…

Oh, glad you had a good weekend anyway! Glad you’re back

Jen, I’ll post a picture tomorrow!
Ginger, if you’re a RITA finalist, then you get a pretty green ribbon to wear on your name badge. It’s special.
Marilyn, thank you! You looked gorgeous as always, too!
Kira, I am happy with him for sure. He’s pretty.
Andrea, sleepy seems to be the running theme for the day.
Julie, thank you! Next time we’ve got to schedule some time together. Running into each other for a few minutes at a time didn’t cut it. Let me know what you find out at the doctor’s office! I hate it when you *know* something’s not right and they get it wrong.
Thanks, Kimberly! How’s the knee? Have you been to the doctor yet???
Fedora, thanks so much! I had a wonderful time. Harry Potter rocked.

Glad you enjoyed Harry! We did too.
And though you didn’t win the RITA, we enjoyed getting to post-party with you! Next year, you have to come earlier.
