Whine About it Wednesday!

To do list:

1.) Take kids to school.

2.) Check kids out of school and take them to get their teeth cleaned.

3.) Take kids back to school.

4.)Go pick up son from school at 11:00 because he gets out early to study for exams.

5.) Go pick daughter up at regular time from school.

Oh, and in between the FIVE trips to school today, I have to go work out–not missing a day!–write my pages, tackle a little bit of laundry, make a cookie cake for son’s class and make an effort at straightening the house.

But I will prevail.

My Whine is I have been a single parent since Sunday. Husband come back tomorrow. Hasn’t been too bad. Off today for end of the year program. Then shopping, out to eat and dentist with child.

  2. Ginger Says:

Aren’t you a busy little lady. Stay strong my sister. My whine is the AIR. It’s horrible here, I hate the smell and that my clothes have that smell. .

  3. Marilyn Says:

I hate that Melinda got voted off American Idol last week and that Laila wasn’t the runner-up on Dancing with the Stars last night.

  4. Kimberly Says:

Things are actually pretty good today. Guess I can whine about the fluid in my ears–at least until 3.30 when I go to the doctor for it

  5. Andrea Says:

I can’t really whine because I’m 99.9% done moving. I thought it might never really be finished, but I am triumphant. I guess I can whine about every part of my body hurting and that my apartment is in a questionable area of town - guy got stabbed yesterday around there when people rushed into his apartment and stole his radio and $12. I will not be answering my door.

  6. Kira Says:

    You be careful Andrea!

I don’t really have a whine today - although I will say the air quality right now isn’t the best. It’s hard to believe wild fires in GA can cause this much haze here.

Sweet Pea graduated kindergarten today and DH, the girls and I went to lunch. So aside from holding back tears, things are pretty good.

    Kira

  7. Danniele Says:

Had to clean my sister’s house with 4 kids under 8, then bring them all home with me. Is it time for bed yet?

  8. Rhonda Says:

Susan, doing the single parent thing is tough. Sorry!

Ginger, the air is terrible here as well. When I walked outside this morning I thought the field behind my house was on fire. Nope. It’s Georgia.

Marilyn, I loved Melinda, too! But I think she’s going to end up being better off. She’ll get out of the Idol contract as soon as the tour is up and the other two are stuck.

Kimberly, hope everything goes well at the doctor’s office. Fluid in ears + planes=pain.

Andrea, eek!!! You’re right. Don’t open the door!

Kira, oh how I remember Kindergarten Graduation! If you held back tears, then you did better than I did. I bawled.

Danniele, bless your heart! You are the master.

  9. Kris Starr Says:

My whine for today is the fact that the cold I’ve had for 13 days turned into a sinus infection, which required antibiotics.

I just want to be healthy again.

I knew I’d start falling apart when I turned 35…

  10. Rhonda Says:

    Oh, Kris. Feel better soon!

  11. Ginger Says:

Poor Kris, mine happened way before 35 and is still going on at 46. . In the past 6 weeks I have been to the ENT twice with sinus infections (and 6 shots too, yowsar!) and will be back next Wednesday for a follow up. And I still have got it all cleared away. I do feel for you.
