Whine About it Wednesday!
Today’s whine is small, but it’s still a whine. So I’ll drag out my trusty
and share it with you.
Because of all my dh’s crap–that should be in our outbuilding, which is full, of course–is on my carport, I can’t park there. And it’s going to rain today. ![]()
Currently there is a ping, pong table, a pressure washer, a shop-vac, two table saws, a weight bench, a deck box and a huge trashcan on my carport. What’s not there, you ask?
*grits teeth*
My car.
I have threatened on more than one occasion lately to post an ad on the FreeCycle network and let people come tote it all off for free. Dh is unmoved.
And so is that stuff! ![]()

I remember the day I was evicted from my garage. I’d parked there happily for almost a year. Then DB moved in. It was a gradual process…a few boxes here, a few items there. Then one day I hit the button and a dirt bike was disassembled in my spot. That was it. It was over. DB promises me I’ll have my spot back in the new garage. We’ll see how long that lasts…

This is why I drive a little car…more room in the garage for other stuff!

This is why we own a detached car port, a storage building, a huge barn with storage shed attached, and a little house that’s only missing a bathroom to make it livable. I never knew how much crap we could accumulate…

My husband is a stickler for cars being in the garage so I don’t have that problem.
However I DO have grass, trees and shrubs that look as if they’ve been through a freeze. Oh wait… they HAVE been through a freeze. Two of them.
I want my pretty yard back. And the warm weather too.

My whine is that I have felt crappy for several weeks now.
However, as of this posting, I have since went to Dr. Feel Good and received 2 shots (and you know where those were) and 2 prescriptions. I must admit I do feel better right now (and I think that little nap helped too). See ya tomorrow.

Andrea, I wonder if your DB and my DH are in cahoots, or at the very least looking at the same play book.
Kimberly, I love your little car. (Though I don’t know how I’d ever get my groceries in it.)
Kira, don’t get me started on outbuildings! We have one that’s packed of stuff we don’t need.
Marilyn, I know what you mean about the warm weather. I *do* have ripe strawberries though.
Ginger, glad to hear that you’re feeling better! Being sick is terrible!
