Whine About it Wednesday!

My whine?  Power keeps blinking on and off eating my posts!!!  Yes, we need the rain, but why the hell do we ALWAYS have to get the storms???  Must go before I lose this post, too…

Whine on…

**Update to whine–have been nauseated since 8ish, starting puking at 9.  Am taking anti-hurling meds and going to lay down for a little while.

    Whine, Whine, Whine.

I’m too lazy to type it all out, but I know what it means and I feel better already.

Great, that means we’ll have storm here in the next couple hours. Guess I’m eating lunch in.

Seems like we can’t just have rain here. I has to be a torrential, flooding downpour complete with power outtages and tornadoes. Sigh.

In other news, I have to give the presentation at my chapter meeting this weekend and I’m stressed out. No, there’s no problems, I just hate talking in front of people. So much pressure! I know…

There was no rain in my forecast so I toddled out at the ass-crack of dawn (phrase courtesy of Ms. Nelson) and blowed off my decks because I need to get the deck cushions out on the deck and out of the guest bedroom but now it’s raining and the blasted cushions are still sucking up floor space in the guest room.

No whines today (shocking, I know!). Just a lot of work to do.
Now yesterday…. if my passport doesn’t come in time for Scotland, you’ll be able to see the explosion around the world. It will not be a pretty site. And my husband has already decided to move out if that happens, because I’ll be unfit to live with.

No major whines now. I had some earlier but finally everyone did their job so I can get my royalties done and make my authors happy. That is the only reason I am at work today. All you authors thank the accounting people who cut your checks. Have a great raining day.

But Andrea it’s not like you’ll be talking in front a room full of strangers. We all know and love you!

My whine is that I’m picking up my car from the body shop today and paying almost $1000 for damage other people did. Somebody backed into the front of my car in a parking lot in South Carolina and just drove off. Somebody else dinged up the door really bad at a hotel back in January. Why do people do that? It’s mean not to hang around and take responsibility for what you do.

I woke up this morning with another eye infection. This is the third one in less than a month. At least I still have antibiotic drops left from the last one…I’m about to tell my husband LASIK is in my future whether we can afford the expense or not. I hate wearing my glasses. Red, swollen, itchy and sore eyes always make me feel icky. It also makes staring at a computer screen all day fairly difficult.
To top it off I woke up this morning with a cold.

Oh, and I had to get a filling this morning too. At least it was small enough I opted out of the novcain. I hate my mouth being numb.

I’d really like to crawl into bed and forget about everything. Unfortunately, that isn’t an option today.

    Kira

Rhonda hope you feel better soon.

My whine is feeling crappy because of this weather. My head is stopped up and yesterday I was getting dizzy. . Other than that life is good, love my student workers who have really been up to bat yesterday and today, making my life easier…. . Have a wonderful, whiny Wednesday and take cover with this weather we are having/expecting today. Glad to see the smileys back too.

Can I add on to my whine? I picked the car up (thanks Kimberly for the ride) and ran some errands. When I got ready to head home I realized they’d missed a big spot on the bumper. So I drove it back to the body shop and showed them. The guy was trying his damndest to get out of it but because he didn’t take photos of the bumper it was my word against his and the customer is always right. So I have to get up at the a$$ crack of dawn and take it back to the body shop. They’ll bring me home but I’ll have to bum another ride to pick it up.

Why don’t people do the job right the first time?
