My new computer will arrive via UPS tomorrow.  I am torn between elation and dread.  Elation because this sucker has a dual processor–yippee!!–and a 22 inch LCD screen–bigger YAY!!! 

Dread because I’m going to have to reload all of my software–provided I can even find it–onto the new baby.  I have an external hard drive which backs up everything at night, but I’m not sure that it does the program files.  I’m pretty sure that it only backs up documents, pictures, etc…  Then there’s the wireless router.  My uncle actually took care of that for me, but it hardly seems right to ask him to do it again.  I’m taking the Pollyanna approach and am convincing myself that I can take care of it.

Anyway, I will try to blog first thing in the morning before the UPS truck runs, but don’t be surprised if I’m AWOL for a couple of days.
