Because I Have a Twisted Sense of Humor…
Here’s the note that went into my daughter’s lunchbox today:
Dear Daughter,
I love you more than oatmeal.
XOXO,
Momma
PS–I think you’re pretty.

OK…what’s going on? I’ve tried to send this three times and each time I hit “Submit Comment” it deletes what I’ve typed and does nothing. Oh well, I’ll give it one more try.
I think your note was nice and not at all twisted. I’m sure there are a lot of kids out there who could use a note like that during their day. Bet it puts a smile on your daughters face when she reads it.

Awwww. How sweet. Your daughter is lucky to have such a caring mom. Like Lizabeth said, some kids don’t have anyone who even gives a hoot.
I have boys too, Ginger, and I would put notes like “Have a great day!” or “Knock ‘em dead at track practice.” It wasn’t all mushy but it let them know I cared.
Have a good weekend everyone!
