New Year’s Eve…
Monday, December 31st, 2007I imagine that I will welcome in 2008 in the same exciting fashion I welcomed in 2006 and 2007–sleeping.
:::sigh:::
Sad, I know, but staying up is completely beyond me. I am not a night owl. I am never too excited to sleep. I have a set amount of hours that I can go and when those hours have expired–usually around 9:30, right after Everybody Loves Raymond goes off–I’m done. I “hit the wall” and am down for the count.Â
What about you? Do you have any exicting New Year’s Eve plans? A fancy dinner? Fireworks with family? Or, like me, will you celebrate in dream land, hoping the resolutions you’re about to make will actually stick?
another day and I thought to myself, “Self, you don’t have time for this. You have to bake little smokies and make cheeseballs and run from pillar to post and back again and at some point actually celebrate Christmas.”
and a blessed New Year.
The kids are out of school. Full-blown Christmas mania starts for our family Saturday at 4 o’clock. The book is not quite done–though I am getting there–and we’re going be celebrating non-stop until the day after Christmas.
